With the remaining six episodes, counting to the end Conners is officially included.

During a visit to the set of loved ones Roseanne Spinoff, Laurie Metcalf – who plays Jackie Harris – tells people that viewers can expect some loose regions when the season is over after seven seasons.

“There’s a lot to finish and I think the writers really work hard to make everyone’s stories … not completed,” says the actress, 69, about the last six episodes of the show. “They won’t have a big bow associated with Connerses.”

“And it will remain faithful to their story, what happens to them in the last episode,” she continues. “But it is a very short time to end this many seasons of a family covered for decades.”

Metcalf’s Kostar Lecy Goranson, who acts as Becky Connor, adds that there are no plans “do something wacky or somehow peak.”

“It’s just not our style. Our show speaks of real people and real life situations, so I feel like we don’t need to do it,” Goranson says, 50 years. “Just say that the characters move together as a family together in the future.”

Although the Connors may be preparing for the next chapter, the actors are thinking about why the show has echoed with fans over the years.

When asked why Sitca connected with viewers, Emma Kenney – who plays Harris Connora – replies: “Relatability, family dynamics. There is a character that I think everyone can connect, whether it is one or the other combination.”
