He was born on March 27, 1968 in Rockledge, FL to his loving parents Judith and Larry Sr. Larry graduated from Cocoa High School with the class of 1986 and continued his higher education at the University of Alabama. He worked diligently at Walt Disney World for 16 years, and also dedicated several years to service at Winn Dixie.
Larry had a deep passion for sports, which included golf, football, basketball and hockey. He was delighted to spend quality time with his dear family and friends, and he invested a significant part of his free time in teaching and raising the next generation. Above all, Larry was widely known for his boundless love for the University of Alabama – Roll Tide – as well as his affection for the Dolphins, evident through his endearing habit of wearing a helmet.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Sr. He is survived by his devoted wife of 7 years, Laura Makela, and their beloved children: Michelle (Tommy), Austin, Christopher (Kristina), Shelby (Daniel) and Thomas. In addition, he leaves behind his adoring grandchildren: Sophia, Ryleigh, Eliana, Grayson, Carson and Warren.
