Leah Remini takes nothing for granted.
Remini, 53, signs fan mail every two weeks, even 17 years since the last episode King of Queens broadcasted.
“I thought I’d share this with you. I still write my fan mail. I still sign it. My mom puts it all on my dining room table and I do it once every two weeks,” Remini explained as she filmed through dozens of signed photos standing on top of stamped envelopes in an Instagram video.
“I always swear I’m going to do it and I’m always going to sign autographs or take pictures if I can with people. Because this is what I’ve been dreaming of, people want my picture,” Remini continued.

The actress echoed the same sentiments in the caption, writing, “This is what I always dreamed of when I was younger and I will never take it for granted!”
In the comments section, fans couldn’t help but reminisce about the hit sitcom that ran for nine seasons from 1998 to 2007.

“My hubbs and I own the series and we get so many good laughs! The chemistry is second to none! 💕🥰,” commented one Instagram user. Another wrote: “King of Queens is my comfort show. Watch it every day!”
Remini played Carrie Heffernan on the hit series and starred opposite Kevin James, who played her husband Doug. The middle-class couple lived in a house in Queens, New York with Carrie’s father, Arthur Spooner, played by the late Jerry Stiller. In 2017, Remini and James reunited during the second season of his short-lived CBS sitcom Kevin can wait.

While celebrating the show’s 25th anniversary in September 2023, Remini shared on Instagram that she signed on after doing “hundreds of auditions” and landing “parts in many pilots and some short-lived series.”
“As soon as the first season began production, I knew I was home and I’m blessed to be able to say that I was a part of a truly special series that ran for nine seasons and 207 episodes and is still thriving in syndication,” her description continued.
The support she received from her fans “means everything in the world,” she wrote.

“I want to let you all know that I see comments where you say you fall asleep every night King of Queensthat you got through a tough day and tough times in your life, that you laughed for the first time of the day watching us, or that you watch several episodes a day, or that you and your family bonded over watching episodes in syndication,” Remini wrote .
