Lena Dunham is in it Reputation era.
The 38-year-old writer and producer supported her friend Taylor Swift on London’s Eras Tour in an outfit not-so-subtly reminiscent of the singer’s 2017 album.
In an Instagram Story post from Monday, Aug. 19, Dunham shared a mirror selfie showing off her concert outfit, which consisted of a black bodysuit emblazoned with the word “trash” in rhinestones, a black maxi skirt, and a black purse.
“Was in my reputation for @taylorswift at Wembley – saw her over a dozen times and each one more magical than the next,” Girls wrote the creator above the recording. “I didn’t even get more pictures because I danced until I sweated through this bodysuit. #erastour for infinity.”
“And yes, it says GARBAGE at the top because… yes,” she added.

Dunham tagged the brands she wore, including Namilia, which makes the Crystal “Trash” bodysuit. The star revealed that her skirt is My Mum Made It and her bag is Medea.
The star also showed off her newly black hair, which she first revealed via Instagram in June.
On the next slide in Dunham’s story, she shared a video of herself and other concert VIP guests dancing to Swift’s hit “Cruel Summer.”
“Okay, I lied, one video,” she captioned the post.

The album is the next in Swift’s re-recordings of her discography, and the singer has seemingly been hinting at a re-release. At a performance in London on August 17, she waved in a snake-like motion as she descended onto the Wembley Stadium floor, according to concert footage shared on X (formerly Twitter).
Additionally, the show took place on the seventh anniversary of Swift deleting her social media and teasing for the first time that Reputation was coming.

Dunham and Swift have been friends for more than a decade. In a recent interview with The New Yorkerthe Catherine aka Birdy the director said she was “protective” of the singer.

“I’m always very careful to be protective of her in every way,” she explained. “Probably the two things I get asked the most in my life are ‘What’s Taylor like?’ and ‘Can I get tickets for the Eras Tour?’ And usually my answer to both of those things is no.”
Dunham also said Swift is “everything you’d want her to be.”
“She is kind, dedicated, introspective, emotional, funny as hell,” she added. “I think my feeling is sometimes, Doesn’t she give us enough, guys?”
