Leon discusses his character in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

Leon Wadham described his character Kemen’s connection with his father Pharazôn in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power in an interview with Collider. He stated:

Listen, Pharazôn is a wonderful guy. You may say that the offspring of prominent individuals fall into two groups. They may either endeavor to equal and outperform their parents, or they might coast on a sense of entitlement. And I believe he falls into that group at the time we meet…” “…He’s arrived in a position of enormous affluence, you know.” He’s living in the golden era, with everything he’s ever desired. There is no genuine wish for that to go.”

Leon Wadham went on to say:

“I believe his father’s displeasure with him stems from the fact that he isn’t bringing any fresh ideas to the table, since the concepts of the day have served him very well personally.” And his trip will require him to question what he stands for, what he believes is worth fighting for, and what that struggle could truly entail.”
