Lexi Reed Celebrates Non-Scale Victory, Says Her Hair Is 'Coming Back' After Loss from Calciphylaxis

Lexi Reed celebrated her weight-free victory on Thursday, telling followers that “sometimes the scale doesn’t show the full picture.”

“Every day I feel more like my old self, I feel healthy, my hair is coming back, I’m wearing bright pants, I’m finally seeing progress,” Reed aka, @fatgirlfedup wrote on Instagram in the caption of a gym mirror selfie of her wearing bright green pants and hair down, loose around the shoulders.

She also shared that she’s “back in her smaller workout clothes again!”

The fitness influencer previously shared that hair loss is just one side effect of her battle with calciphylaxis — a rare, debilitating disease that the Mayo Clinic explains occurs when “calcium builds up in the small blood vessels of fat and skin tissue.”
