Lights, Camera, Action! Prince William Helps Shoot a Movie with Budding Filmmakers Before Missing BAFTAs

Prince William meets the next generation of filmmakers.

While the world of the British screen is preparing for the honor of the best at the annual Bafta awards on Sunday, February 15, the Prince of Wales visited a unique faculty with filmmakers to take their first creative steps according to a possible career.

Prince William, 42, introduced older students at the London Academy of Screen, where skills that are useful for film production, costume, editing and animation are taught together with traditional cases.

In a break with a recent tradition, William, who is the president of BAFTA, will not be at the Awards fair on Sunday. He chose a visit to February 12 to highlight young people who could one day be on that red carpet for that glamorous night.
