And you see that in her wardrobe.

“The evolution of Emily’s style this year is more calm and focused on herself,” Collins says in the video.
Fitoussi highlights the season’s recurring floral theme, noting that Collins was a “little bud” in previous seasons that is now blooming.
“She’s really coming into her own, asserting herself, becoming much stronger, with a style that reinterprets Parisian fashion codes,” Fitoussi, who worked with Collins during the filming of the Netflix series, adds of Emily.

Collins also highlighted a few of her favorite looks from the season, including a Balmain suit from the Crazy Horse night. For the episode, she wore a velvet suit with glittering silver polka dots.
The actress also called out Harris Reed’s black and white striped look for Nina Ricci that she wore to the Baccarat Ball.
“The baccarat ball, visually, was so perfect that it was stunning in the mansion,” says Collins.
But that doesn’t mean she didn’t love her look in Rome too as Emily jetted off to a new city! Collins says her Roman look was “so much fun” too, highlighting several Vivienne Westwood polka dot looks that were inspired by Rome itself as well as the film Roman holiday.
“It was Emily’s way of resting!” Collins says, and Fitoussi adds: “Rome is an explosion of joy, love and champagne.”
