She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005.

“My heart sank.”

“My balance is getting worse, and my memory – my sisters have to ask me when I get lost in the middle of a sentence.

Her sister Bernie died of breast cancer at the age of 52 in 2013.

The disease spread to her brain, lungs, liver and bones.

Linda also lost her husband Brian to skin cancer in 2007.

In 2005, Linda was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer, and was completely cured a year later.

But in March 2017 she was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer which was identified after it had spread to her hip, following a fall.

Doctors said they didn’t believe it could be cured – and by May 2020, the cancer had spread to her liver.

She had previously shockingly admitted that she did not know how much time she had left.
