Hubbard, 37, took to Instagram for the first time on Thursday about her August divorce from Radke, 38, thanking her followers for giving her the time and space to “grieve the loss of not only my relationship, but also a friendship with someone I considered mine.” best friend for 8 years.”
“The last 2 weeks have been the most heartbreaking and emotional weeks of my life,” Hubbard wrote. “My whole life and future had been ripped out from under me and it was hard for me to make sense of it all – with no answers or conclusion as to why. I feel humiliated by how this happened and at the same time heartbroken that it happened in the first place. My trust was betrayed and it was hard for me to come to terms with that.”

Radke proposed to Hubbard in August 2022, and they planned to marry in Mexico in November. Earlier this week, Radke sent an email to the wedding guests about the official cancellation of their wedding.
According to Hubbard, the decision to end the relationship “wasn’t my decision” and she didn’t want to end things “without trying everything possible first.” “I’ve spent the last few weeks finding my own closure and peace,” the publicist continued. “I am forever grateful to my best friends who have not abandoned me and pick up the pieces of my heart and life every day from the fall.”
Hubbard shared that she hasn’t fully processed “everything that happened,” but wanted fans to hear from her directly about the breakup. She thanked her friends, family and Summer house costars “for taking me out.”

In Radke’s email Monday, he wrote that “words cannot describe how difficult the last two weeks have been for Lindsay and I” and apologized “for the confusion and lack of communication” surrounding their breakup.
“We were left trying to figure out exactly how it all happened before we could even have a chance to figure out a way forward among ourselves,” he explained.

News of the breakup first surfaced in late August, but Radke’s email — in which he stated that “we are unfortunately not proceeding with the wedding at this time” — confirmed it for the first time.
“The fact is Lindsay is devastated and I’m devastated by how this all happened,” he said, calling the end of their relationship “such a mess.”

Hubbard celebrated her nuptials last month and told PEOPLE at the time that she and Radke were finalizing the wedding details.
“It’s so nice to see Carl as we keep checking the to-dos off our list and he’s getting closer,” she said. “We’re literally three months away at this point, and it goes by so fast. And then the next thing you know, I’ll be walking down the aisle.”

Below deckCaptain Lee Robach, who was chosen by Radke and Hubbard to officiate their wedding, said in the last episode of his Salty with Captain Lee podcast that Radke is “as devastated as anyone I’ve ever seen”.
“It will be a high-profile wedding and it will be broadcast on Bravo,” added the 73-year-old Robach. “Is there a graceful way out of something like that?”
Robach addressed a fan theory that Radke’s mother played a role in the broken engagement, saying, “I can see where that could happen. You know [mothers] are always on. You have to have boundaries.”
