Lindsay Lohan Celebrates 38th Birthday with Smiling Selfie: ‘Grateful for Every Moment’

Happy birthday, Lindsay Lohan!

The Irish wish the actress is now 38 and is “grateful for every moment” as she celebrates another year of life.

“Another trip around the sun 🎂🥳🎉😘🙏,” the former child star began in her Instagram caption alongside a smiling selfie on Tuesday, July 2.

“Grateful for every moment and appreciating every second of everyday life and all the beautiful things that life has to offer. He feels blessed. Thank you for all the nice birthday wishes ☺️,” added Lohan.

Lohan posed in front of a hedge wall filled with green leaves, perfectly complementing her signature red hair. She wore a white blouse and a fun and festive birthday hat that was decorated with fake candles.

Her fans wished her a very special birthday, including Kathy Hilton, who commented: “🎂🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈💕💕💕🎉🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳.”

In an interview with Night line which aired on Saturday, June 29, the now 38-year-old said he recently returned to Walt Disney Studios to begin filming Strange Friday 2 made him feel like a kid again.

Lohan was 16 years old when she starred in the family comedy in 2003 Crazy Friday with Jamie Lee Curtis. In the film, a single mother and her teenage daughter switch lives after making a strange fortune at a Chinese restaurant.

During a June 29 interview, Lohan credited Disney (and its film group) with a large part of her childhood, mentioning her films The parent trap, Confessions of a teenage drama queen and Herbie: Fully loaded.

“That’s so many moments for me. So when I got there, I felt like the essence of a little kid again,” she said.

During the performance at Good morning America On June 27, Lohan said the upcoming sequel with Curtis, 65, will be “a lot weirder than you’d expect.”

“Jamie and I have stayed in touch over the years,” Lohan said. “So it’s kind of, you know, they always say, when you have a best friend or someone you’re really close to, if you can’t see them for years and years, but when you see them again, it’s like you’ve never been apart.”

And while Lohan may have switched roles with her movie mom over 20 years ago, she’s now a mom herself!

Lohan also discussed motherhood with GMA and how her life has changed since she welcomed her son Luai with her husband Bader Shammas last summer.

“I am so grateful for every moment, every second,” she said. “Every morning when I wake up and run to grab my son and just look at him and when he looks into my eyes, I’ll get emotional. It’s just the most beautiful thing. I’m so grateful every day.”

“We’re always moving so fast, so I feel like that’s the one thing I’ve learned over time is to take time for myself and really just appreciate every moment,” Lohan added.
