Lindsie Chrisley Feels Savannah Is ‘Lashing Out’ as Little Sister Claims They ‘Don’t Speak’ (Exclusive)

Lindsie Chrisley reflects on her sister Savannah Chrisley’s new claims.

In the episode of the show on Thursday Viall files, Savannah claimed that she and Lindsie are no longer on speaking terms. 26 year old Chrisley knows best The alum noted that her relationship with Lindsie and her older brother Kyle Chrisley has always been strained.

“Mom always treated her and my oldest brother from my dad’s first marriage as if they were her own. They didn’t necessarily treat her the same,” Savannah said, referring to her mother, Julie Chrisley.

In a statement shared with PEOPLE, Lindsay’s attorney, Musa Ghanayem, spoke on her behalf and shared her plans for moving forward, reiterating that the 33-year-old reality star “held no ill will” toward her little sister.

“Savannah is in a tough situation. Everything has changed, hasn’t it? She has Chloe [and Grayson],” Ghanayem explained, talking about her new responsibilities as a caregiver after becoming the primary caregiver for her brother Grayson, 17, and her sister Chloe, 10, while her parents are in prison. (Chloe is Kyle’s biological daughter, but her father Todd Chrisley and Julie, 50, previously adopted her and consider her their child.)

“She’s dealing with a lot and I’m not surprised she lashed out at Lindsie,” Ghanayem continued. “I mean, some of the things she says about her parents, it has to be out of anger because it’s not true.”

The attorney also addressed Savannah’s recent claims about her sister’s involvement in the case, saying, “Lindsie was the only sibling to testify in her parents’ defense. And, you know, all the other information that’s come out kind of shows that she really had nothing to do with the investigation.”

“Lindsie said a long time ago that she really didn’t want to deal with any drama,” Ghanayem added, stressing that despite reconciling with Todd (54), her “mindset” hasn’t changed and she “stepped out” after the drama started to return.

“She’s Savannah’s punching bag this week,” he claimed, noting that he’s always liked Savannah. “She is really young – young to deal with all this and there is no doubt about it. Because nothing she says is based on fact, right? It has to be based on anger and frustration and many different kinds of frustration.”

Not only does Ghanayem think Savannah is “frustrated” because her “parents are in jail,” but the attorney also theorized that she may have pent-up feelings about her “new life” at age 26, caring for his younger brothers and sisters.

“There is no ill will on Lindsie’s part,” added Ghanayem. “Lindsie is the hardest working person I know. I think that’s something that gets completely overshadowed.”

“She is laser-focused as a mother and entrepreneur and is currently happy in her new relationship,” he continued. “Lindsie works hard and stays focused. She’s doing great. And, you know, moving forward.”
