Lindsie Chrisley Won’t ‘Engage in Unhealthy Behavior’ After Claiming She ‘Took the Blame’ in Family Feud

Lindsie Chrisley hopes her feud with sister Savannah Chrisley can be resolved privately.

In the latest episode of her podcast, Southern teathe Chrisley knows best alum, 34, opened up about feeling she took responsibility publicly amid her feud with Savannah, but now she’s only interested in discussing their issues behind closed doors.

“I kind of took the blame for certain things that I shouldn’t have publicly taken the blame for,” she explained. “I took it on this podcast myself just to make it go away and have peace.”

Savannah Chrisley vows to ‘end’ unhealthy relationships, accuses sister Lindsie of ‘constant lies and victim mentality’

“I still stand by the position that I would be willing to talk in private, but I will not be willing to continue to engage in unhealthy behavior that is publicly displayed for any purpose, whether it is for entertainment, regardless of the reasons for being, I will not engage in it” , she added.

Her comments come after Savannah, 26, revealed to PEOPLE earlier this month how she stands with her sister as they continue to publicly discuss their private rift. The couple is currently unfollowing each other on social media and not talking to each other in real life.

“It’s very interesting,” Savannah said of her clash with Lindsie. “I don’t do well with constant lies and a victim mentality, so I’m good.”

Lindsie Chrisley says Savannah showed a ‘complete lack of empathy’ when talking about her relationship with Julie

Wanting to keep her cool, Savannah added that she doesn’t see the possibility of a future reconciliation at this point.

“I realized that as an adult it is my responsibility to have healthy relationships and end unhealthy ones,” she continued. “Especially now with two kids, it’s my job to protect them emotionally, physically, mentally and I just have no room for people who don’t want to show up and do it in a healthy way.”

Lindsie revealed in June that she had blocked siblings Savannah, Chase Chrisley and Grayson Chrisley, on social media following a recent spat, but said “everything is fine” between them.

However, a source told PEOPLE that the siblings are “not doing well,” which Savannah confirmed on Viall files. She also claimed that Lindsie and her brother, Kyle Chrisley — both of whom their father, Todd Chrisley, had during a previous marriage — did not treat her mother, Julie Chrisley, as if she were their mother, even though Julie “always treated them as if they were hers.”

During her appearance on Convos with coffee podcast, Lindsie said Savannah’s comments showed a “complete lack of empathy” given that her parents “were divorced [and] went through toxic co-parenting and [hated] one another.”
