Lisa Ann Walter calls out Megan Fox.
After Fox (36) shared photos on Instagram on Sunday in which she and her fiance Machine Gun Kelly dressed as characters from Quentin Tarantino’s film Kill Bill movies and tagging SAG-AFTRA in the photo’s caption, Walter, 60, took to Xu, formerly known as Twitter, to criticize Fox.
The Hollywood Actors’ Union, which has been on strike since July, previously asked its members not to publicly share Halloween costumes inspired by filmed productions. In this case, Kill Bill distributed by Miramax, a subsidiary of Disney, which is one of the major studios against which the actors continue to strike.
“What a rebel. Keep playing the fool with…, pretty lady,” Walter she wrote on social networks in response to a post showing Fox’s costume. “In the meantime, we will be working 10 hours a day – unpaid – to ensure a fair deal for basic contract earners.”
“PS-post replied [to] member questions. Nobody cares about children’s costumes,” she added, noting that the union was only interested in the actions of “high professionals at fancy parties”. Like Megan.”

Some SAG members, including Ryan Reynolds, appeared to jokingly criticize the union advisory after it was released on October 19. Reynolds, 47, wrote on X: “I’m looking forward to yelling ‘mange’ at my 8-year-old all night. She’s not in the union, but she needs to learn.”
The union, meanwhile, deleted its Oct. 19 advice on Halloween costumes and issued an update on Oct. 20 to clarify those guidelines “do not apply to anyone’s children,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. Among other actors who criticized the consultation was former SAG president Melissa Gilbert, who wrote on Instagram that the consultation made the union “look like a joke” amid a stalemate in negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) just a week earlier.

On X over the weekend, Walter also criticized Reynolds while responding to another SAG-AFTRA member, who opined that Fox’s Halloween announcement showed a “total lack of respect” for the union’s mission during the strike.

“I bet she likes the rollover rules and the relocation fees and our constant fight to protect the AI and stream residuals… The union did it,” Walter published. “But sure – s— at them for being stupid. This goes for Ryan Reynolds as well.”
The SAG negotiating committee announced on Monday that negotiations with AMPTP will continue on Tuesday.
“While talks over the past week have been productive, we remain distant on key issues,” the statement said, urging actors to continue showing up on picket lines and publicly share support for the strike.
