Lisa Rinna Recalls Kissing Jack Wagner and Thomas Calabro in 1 Day on Melrose Place: ‘That Freaked Me Out'

Lisa Rinn is reminiscent of her The place of Melrose Days – and how her character complicated love life kissed two Kostane backwards.

During a recent performance at Grindr’s Who is a ——? with Katya Podcast, the actress, 61, asked which of her many TV roles over the years was “the most handsome and exciting”, and quickly singled out Taylor McBride from the soap drama in the 1990s.

“The funniest one so far,” Rinn said about playing scheming Taylor for three seasons in the Fox Primimeti series. “She was crazy. And I could have done everything.”

“This was so funny. One day I had to kiss the two actors, one after the other. So I had to get away with Michael Mancini (Thomas Calabro), and then I had to get out with the guy who played Peter. Oh, F – “What is his name?” She said, taking a moment to remember that Peter played Jack Wagner.

“And that scared me,” she continued. “I thought it was really – I never did it and I never did it.”

Later, in the conversation, Rinna touched her hygiene of the past costers when it came to intimate scenes, saying, “I think I never had anyone who was just rough.”

“Yes. Fortunately, their hygiene was good. So, I met there,” she added all the actors she worked with in her career.

Rinna told people that she would “love” to join The place of Melrose Restart, which is currently in development. “I heard about that,” she said about the Revival series in April 2024. “I didn’t approach me or anything, but I would love to see what Taylor McBride is up to 25 years later. Leighton, 56, added that there were a lot of “moving parts and pieces” involved in the production of the series, but said that the acting group is as much as fans. “The stars need to match, but we want it as much as fans want it,” she told the audience at the event.

Leighton, who played Sydney Andrews in the show, also teased what viewers could expect from a new series. “The idea is what happens to these people 30 years later,” she explained. “There are all these fans, all these great conspiracies, and these are just marvelous creative ideas, an example of everyone’s interest in where they would be.”

Zuniga, who portrayed Jo Reynolds, hid that he agreed that when it came to the famous sensational lines of the show, they were endless to restart.

“These characters are so rich and it happened so much,” she said. “I don’t think there is anyone who is not curious. What the hell would Join’s child do now? What would Joino a 26-year-old child currently do with Amanda (Locklear)? These are rich characters that all writers like to dig.”
