Lisa moves as a solo artist.
BLACKPINK rapper and singer, 27, just became Billboard’the first global headline star. In an interview published on Thursday, November 14, Lisa talked about living on her own and owning her sexiness during this new era.
“At first I was scared and nervous because I never come here to do my own thing. And now I’m having fun,” said Lisa about her solo career. “When [my singles] came out, the reaction of the fans, it heals me. It’s like, ‘Oh, my God. Yes — I did a great job!'”

The “Pink Venom” artist also said Billboard that she is now ready to show the masses everything she has to offer.
“I’m a rapper in BLACKPINK, so I’m always rapping. But now it’s an opportunity for me to show the world what I’m capable of [so much more]”, she added.
A South Korean girl group – which Lisa confirmed Billboard will return in 2025 — consisting of Lisa, Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo.
“We know each other very well and know how much energy we have to put into each project,” Lisa said of her former bandmates, adding that the girls are still close to each other.

“That’s why we want to support and say, ‘You did really well!’ Like, Jennie and Rosie just released their songs and we’re on text, we’re on FaceTime. They are like family,” Lisa continued. “I’m so happy they’re releasing something. That’s what we all wanted to do, so I just wanted to say that I really love their songs.”
When it comes to her own choices as a solo artist, Lisa said, “It’s a little more relaxed 1731693978.”
“We are no longer beginners. I’m 27 and heading towards 30. Of course, I’m still young, yes, but I feel like it’s more flexible for us.”
One of her most recent performances came when she opened the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show with a high-energy performance of her song “Rockstar.”

While talking to Billboard for the global cover issue, Lisa discussed working with her choreographer Sean Bankhead to deliver an unforgettably sexy performance.
“It’s nothing crazy,” she said of her progress as both a woman and an artist. “I feel like I’m just doing whatever I want and it’s not hurting anyone. As long as it doesn’t hurt anyone’s feelings.”
The singer recently revealed that she returned to Thailand to film the third season White lotusin which she plays the hospitality worker Thidapon Sornsin. The new season will be released in 2025.
