Travis Kelce’s music debut is here!
The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star lent his vocal talents Philly’s Special Christmas, the second Christmas album by musical trio Philadelphia Eagles.
Available Dec. 1, the album features holiday classics sung by Travis’ brother Jason Kelce and his Eagles teammates Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson.
Jason, 36, recruited Travis for the album track “Fairytale of Philadelphia,” allowing the NFL stars to embrace their brotherly love, Philadelphia-style.
Travis’ verse included playful jabs at Jason, such as calling him a “fake” and an “a–” and hoping that “this Christmas will be our last” in the song.
During a recent episode of the brothers’ weekly podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Mailata joined the show to discuss the making of the album.
And when Jason compared Travis’ voice to Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger, the boys thought it was a good comparison.
“Dude, I don’t want to hear myself sing like that. I have more of a rock voice,” Travis explained, admitting that he still hadn’t listened to the final version of the song before it was officially released.

Along with Travis, singer Patti LaBelle is also a guest Philly Special Christmas Special.
During his performance at new heights, Mailata said it was “nerve-wracking” to sing “in front of a big one” like LaBelle.

The Eagles tackle also shared some insights into the making of the album. “We got to see more songwriting this year than last year, and I’ll take that with me forever,” Mailata said.
Jason agreed, adding, “I’m right there with you, and I think me and you and Lane will be put on the front of the album, but there are so many musicians.”
“It’s really fun to watch it go from nothing to something,” added Jason.

Mailata has been singing since she was young, and in an interview with ABC 6 last month, she said, “Music was my first love before sports.”
Jason told listeners that Mailata is “very talented” musically, and even “taught himself the banjo in the locker room” this season.
Travis gave the album rave reviews for the episode and said it was “really unique and really cool” to see the project come to life. “Hats off to you,” he added.
