A GIRL was airlifted to hospital after falling from a window on the second floor of a cafe.
Emergency services rushed to the Caffè Nero branch in the Royal Victoria Place shopping center in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, on Friday afternoon.

The victim, believed to be a girl, is believed to have jumped from an upstairs window onto the store’s canopy, before hitting the pavement.
The child, who was conscious at the scene, was treated by emergency crews before being airlifted to a London hospital.
A witness, who did not want to be named, told KentOnline: “There are two floors on top of Caffè Nero and we have no idea which window it is from.
“I just heard a woman screaming in fear and then a little girl lying on the floor screaming and crying.”
Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s (TWBC) Environmental Health Team has since issued a prohibition notice preventing customers or members of the public from accessing the upstairs seating area of the Caffè Nero outlet.
Local authorities have launched a full investigation into the incident.
A TWBC spokesman said: “We were very upset to hear about this incident and our thoughts are with the child and their family. We wish the child a full and speedy recovery.
“On Friday afternoon after we were notified of the incident, members of the Council’s Environmental Health Team visited the premises and served a health and safety ban notice banning customers and/or members of the public from accessing the upstairs seating area; this remains in place.
“In line with the Council’s responsibilities to implement health and safety measures, we are continuing a full and thorough investigation into the circumstances of the incident.”
South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) confirmed it was called to reports of a child who had fallen from a height.
A spokesman said: “I can confirm that SECAmb were called to reports of a child who had fallen from a height in Royal Victoria Place, Tunbridge Wells, at around 2.25pm on Friday (February 16).
“Ambulance crews attended the scene and were joined by Air Ambulance Charity Kent, Surrey, Sussex.
“The child was assessed and treated before being airlifted to a London hospital for further checks.”
A Royal Victoria Place spokesman sent his “best wishes” to the child’s family.
They confirmed that the lease of the space is held by Caffè Nero and said that they could not comment further because of this.
A spokesperson said: “The safety of our visitors, colleagues and retailers is our highest priority.
“We are saddened to learn of the horrific incident at Caffè Nero on Grosvenor Road and send our best wishes for a positive outcome for the family.”
Caffè Nero has been contacted for comment.
