Loose Women star Brenda Edwards has opened up about a creepy moment with a psychic she visited shortly after what would have been her son Jamal’s 32nd birthday. The TV personality revealed that she felt freaked out when she passed a psychic offering readings, and decided to go in and have tarot cards.
She explained: “[I asked] “Can I have a reading, please?” They had a groove right then and there. So I sat down and drew seven cards. I shuffled the pack and drew seven cards. And of those, there were two out of seven cards. The first one that really freaked me out was number 31.” Watch the full video here…

Brenda explained: “It was number 31 and it was just a bird’s feather. Jamal was 31 when he passed, so that meant something to me. And the other one was a person, a horse on a tree, which is guardian symbolism.
“And the person said to me, ‘You’ve been through a lot. It seems like you’ve been through a lot emotionally in February and you’re doing something. You’re a caregiver, which means you’re trying to help others. People love young people.’

“I didn’t talk or go into detail about the trust I set up for Jamal’s estate and I know he didn’t know it, but he said, since you’re going to be so busy, you can’t get married again because it won’t work because you have too much going on. I’m said that. I just saw it as validation for myself, which was nice.”
How did Jamal Edwards die?
Brenda confirmed that Jamal died suddenly after taking recreational drugs. In an emotional statement in 2022, she wrote: “Unfortunately, I learned that the cause of Jamal’s devastating death was cardiac arrhythmia caused by taking recreational drugs, and I wanted to personally address this to everyone who loved, admired and respected my son.

Jamal was a hugely popular music entrepreneur who was close friends with singer Ed Sheeran, who wrote Eyes Closed after his friend’s death. Posting on the anniversary of his death back in February on Instagram, Ed wrote: “I can’t believe it’s been a year. I miss you everyday, right now I’m drowning in rum listening to the songs you loved xx.”
