In PEOPLE’s exclusive sneak peek, Lt. Bishop rallies his police force as he relays important information about a recent shooting that left the squad “raw.”

“Listen,” she says before passing out the papers. “The gang just identified Delgado’s shooter, Eddie Watson. He and s— driver Juan Cortes are believed to still be in town, but probably trying to get away.”

“Detectives are still trying to identify the passenger. We think she is a minor who is a victim of human trafficking, which could be the motive for the shooting,” she continues. “If one of you catches sight, Watson or Cortez, don’t engage yourself. Clear?”

The officers firmly reply, “Yes, ma’am!” and Bishop gives her team a word of warning.

“I know we’re all raw, but we’re keeping it under control. We have a multi-agency task force looking for these mother—-s, that’s their job. It’s your business as usual. Any questions?” she asks.

When the team is silent, she adds, “Watch each other’s backs. Get to work.”

In late December, Loughlin opened up about taking on the no-nonsense role and how it’s different On invitation was on projects that he usually takes on.

She admitted about the role: “I didn’t know I had it in me — to be that bad.”
