In a clip released today, the royal children were tasked with helping to find Christmas presents for children their own age at the Baby Bank near their home.
The clip shows the four of them arriving in a car, Louis clapping enthusiastically as they pull out candy from the trunk.
The candid short video showed the three young royals excited about helping out as they giggled and picked out the perfect gifts.
A staff member said, “Come and see what we’re doing.”
Kate tells the children, “There are a lot of people here who give up their time and there are a lot of volunteers who come and help. Like you are the volunteers tonight.”
Louis, five, gave a cheeky look as he grabbed the toy gorilla.
And Charlotte, eight, is in fits of giggles as she picks up the growing baby and shouts “that’s in Welsh”.
While George, 10, was seen sorting through clothes and toys, he is clearly keen to come back and volunteer again.
The four visited The Baby Bank in Maidenhead last month, where they packed gift bags as part of a Christmas pyjama.
They helped pack and carry referral bags for local families that consisted of clothes and toys.
George is seen carrying a huge Christmas bag full of parents as Kate knelt down with Charlotte to help sift through the donated goods.
Kate’s daughter also grabs a marker to write on the gift tags.
The Princess of Wales tells her three children: “All these bags are donations and then we have to sort them and put them in all the boxes.”
At one point Louis, who was also with his sibling at Kate’s song concert last Friday, was seen energetically helping to pack clothes.
Prince George, who is also eagerly arranging his clothes and picking up a bright Hawaiian-style shirt, is said to “want to go back”.
Kate hugged her eldest son and said, “You see how rewarding the job is.”
WHAT CAN YOU DO
George replied, “Yes.”
Kate adds, “Knowing you’re helping others.”
A third of children under the age of five live in poverty.
Earlier this month, the Princess of Wales launched a Baby Banks awareness campaign for the festive season as part of her Royal Foundation’s Early Childhood Centre.
Kate has previously shown her support for The Sun’s Baby Bank on Us campaign.
The campaign has been revamped to help struggling families this Christmas, in partnership with Save The Children UK, Little Village and more than 200 baby banks across the country providing children with basic necessities.
Baby banks work much like food banks – families facing hardship can access basic items such as nappies, clothes, shoes and toys for free.
We’ve launched our Cozy At Christmas campaign to ask YOU to donate money or new and well-loved warm clothes, including coats, jumpers and nightgowns, to your local baby bank.
