Louis Tomlinson and his siblings were there for each other through everything.
The “Silver Tongues” singer is the eldest in his large mixed family. Louis was born to Johannah “Jay” Deakin (née Poulston) and Troy Austin on December 24, 1991. Louis was not in a relationship with his father, who had a daughter named Georgia Austin while in another relationship.
Meanwhile, Johannah married Mark Tomlinson, and the couple had four daughters together: Lottie, Félicité and twins Phoebe and Daisy. The couple later divorced in 2011, and Johannah gave birth to a second set of fraternal twins, son Ernest and daughter Doris, with her husband Dan Deakin.
Louis, Lottie, Phoebe and Daisy grew close after their mother died of leukemia in 2016 and the sudden death of their sister Félicité in 2019.
From his days in One Direction to his solo career, Lottie, Phoebe, Daisy, Ernest and Doris are their brother’s biggest supporters. Recently, the older sisters attended the London premiere of his documentary Paramount+ All those voices.
While Louis, Lottie, Daisy and Phoebe are present on social media, Georgia lives offline and is not much in the public eye. On the other hand, Ernest and Doris can be seen on their sisters’ social networks.
Here’s everything you need to know about Louis Tomlinson’s siblings and their relationship with the singer-songwriter.

Johannah died of leukemia on December 7, 2016, at the age of 43. In the years that followed, Louis spoke about his grieving process and how he channeled his emotions into lyrics. The memory of his mother inspired the first single, “Two of Us”, from his debut album, The walls.
“I just feel like musically I should have gotten this song off my chest,” he said in a statement in March 2019. “People say that writing is part of therapy and in a way, I feel like I avoided writing this song because I knew that I only have one chance to make it right.”
He talked to the UK Metro and shared why she would approve of it. “She would have loved it, she was a fan of ballads,” he said. “My mom didn’t want to wallow in self-pity. Again, that’s what gives me pride and comfort when I sing the chorus. It feels really liberating.”
During a guest appearance in the ITV program Lorraine in April 2019, he also revealed that she was “always obsessed with the idea of me playing the piano” and opened his song in honor of her.
“Under normal circumstances, I might have said no, but … knowing that she liked the idea and that she had it with this song … I just bought into the idea and really embraced it,” Louis said.

Félicité, affectionately known as Fizzy, died on March 13, 2019 of an accidental overdose. Coroner Shirley Radcliffe said the cause of death was a fatal combination of Xanax, OxyContin and cocaine, according to the BBC. The 18-year-old was a model and influencer who wanted to become a fashion designer.
Louis did not publicly comment on his sister’s death until a month later. On X (formerly known as Twitter), he thanked fans for sending their condolences and well wishes. “I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words over the past few weeks,” Louis chirped in that time. “Today I’m back in the studio to sing something I wrote a few months ago. Sending you lots of love x.”
Phoebe and Daisy both gave touching tributes to their late sister. “You were my best friend, sister, motivator and person who could make me laugh until I cried,” Phoebe wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Fizzy as a child. “I’m lost without you and the thought that I’ll never see you again scares me like you wouldn’t believe it.”
Daisy also shared an old photo of the sisters on Instagram, writing: “No words can even come close to explaining how heartbroken I am, once again.” She mentioned their late mother and how she has “two angels watching over me now.”

Louis’ younger sisters, twins Phoebe and Daisy, were born on March 23, 2004.
They have a combined 2.3 million followers on Instagram and are both signed to the same talent and brand management agency in London. The closely related couple also have matching cherry tattoos on their upper right hips. When they’re not at Fashion Week or partnering with brands, they’re traveling the world together.
In honor of their 19th birthday in 2023, Phoebe wrote an emotional letter to her twin on Instagram. She touched on Daisy’s “incredible wisdom, strength and courage” and how she was “someone I admired day in and day out.”
“I wouldn’t be half the girl I am today without you and I can’t thank you enough for everything you do for me,” she added alongside their childhood throwback snap.
Daisy speaks with equal gratitude of her twin and their unique bond. She once captioned an Instagram post of her and her sister, “anywhere with you is home ✨.”

Lottie, a makeup artist by trade, launched a vegan self-tanning brand called Tanologist in 2018. The collection ranges from lotions and drops to water formulas and hyaluronic acid products.
According to Lottie, she always called herself a “tanologist” because she enjoyed “experimenting with different products” and trying to achieve the perfect glow. However, she did not find the one she was looking for and created him instead.
“I developed this line to deliver everything I wanted in a tan — clean, clear, streak-free results, and I can’t wait for you to become a full-on tanologist!” she wrote on the website Tanologist.
Tanologist has taken off, amassing more than 160,000 thousand followers on Instagram. Lottie has also placed her products in major retailers nationwide, including Target, CVS, Walgreens, and Ulta, among others.

Louis was the first of his siblings to become a parent. His son Freddie Reign, who he shares with stylist Briana Jungwirth, was born on January 21, 2016.
On the subject of fatherhood, the singer told SiriusXM, “It’s had a little bit of an effect on who I am as a person. I’d like to say it’s made me a little bit more mature — I don’t know if that’s actually true.”
A few years later, Lottie and her partner Burton welcomed a son named Lucky on August 10, 2022. On his first birthday, Lottie shared a carousel of photos. In the Instagram caption, she said Lucky “showed me a love I never thought possible” and thanked her son for “making my heart whole again.”
Recently, in June 2023, Phoebe announced that she and her boyfriend Varley are expecting their first child together. The expectant parents later revealed in August that they were having a daughter.
Louis and his siblings peek at Ernest and Doris
Johannah and her husband Dan had fraternal twins, son Ernest and daughter Doris, on February 10, 2014.
“Daniel and Johanna are delighted to welcome twins – a boy Ernest Rupert Atholl Deakin, 5lbs 12oz, and a girl Doris Poppet Deakin, 4lbs 11oz,” a spokesman said Metro in that time.
Although not much is seen of the twins, fans occasionally catch glimpses of them on their older siblings’ Instagram accounts. In March 2023, Daisy posted a series of family photos on Instagram of Ernest and Doris with their nephew Lucky.
She previously shared a family celebration of Christmas in pajamas. While Louis was not in the photo, his son Freddie posed for him.

Louis’ estranged father, Austin, announced that he had been diagnosed with liver cancer in May 2018, just 18 months after the death of Louis’ mother. Austin is also Georgia’s biological father, whom he welcomed in another relationship.
In an interview with Sun, Austin said he underwent a four-hour operation to remove the tumor. The One Direction star’s father believed it was linked to his drinking and diet.
»I can’t blame anything else. Every day I smoked up to 25 cigarettes and drank six to eight cans of Tyskie, a Polish lager, Austin told the British publication. “And my diet was terrible. It was Chinese and Indian takeout and lots of chips.”
In the midst of a health scare, he hoped to meet Louisa again. “My life is changing now. If you ever want to make contact, I’d be happy for that to happen,” he added.
