Love Is Blind Stars Reunite in the Pods to Launch ‘Love Is Wine’ Chardonnay: ‘All of the Emotions,’ Says Bartise

Love is… wine?

Previous Love is blind cast members Bartise Bowden, Micah Lussier, Marshall Glaze and Taylor Rue returned to the pods to help launch Cupcake Vineyards’ new bottle of “Love Is Wine” ahead of the February 14 season 6 premiere.

“I got to go back to the lineups, and this time with a script so I thought it would be a little easier,” Bowden, 27, jokes to PEOPLE about filming the video campaign (above). He adds: “We were basically back in the pods, it felt like we were walking with each other a bit, but at the end of the day we were walking out with a bottle of chardonnay.”

While answering the question “Is love really… wine?”, cast members sipped chardonnay – available in stores and online from February 1 – from the well-known golden goblets seen on the show.

Bowden, 27, admittedly wasn’t a fan of Chardonnay in the past, but getting to know it better in pods has led him to change his mind. “Actually, it tastes very good,” he said A perfect match says the star. “I’m not a big fan of white wine. I normally do red wine, but this chardonnay is quite tasty.”

Reentering the pods brought back fond memories for Bowden. “It was cool to go back there and ‘hang out’, sit on the couch, write in a journal and relive all those emotions,” he says.

During recording Love is blind, says that his “best times” were precisely in those capsules. “Going into the capsule for the first time, that adrenaline and excitement, it was really the best time,” he tells PEOPLE. “But also the living room with the boys, in a way going through love triangles and soothing each other.”

This time, Bowden felt an immediate connection with his teammates. “Obviously I’m passing Love is blind you’re kind of connected,” he says. “I don’t know if we want to call it a trauma bond or whatever, but we all hit it off right after the jump. Marshall, Micah, Taylor and I are all good friends now.”

Bowden, who is father to one-year-old Hayden, reveals he is still “single and looking for love”.

“I’m focused on parenting,” he says, “but I wouldn’t shy away from a relationship or getting to know someone seriously.”
