Love Island star heartbroken as beloved family member dies

The star of Love Island, Jake Cornish, remained a broken heart after the death of his grandmother.

The 27-year-old-who appeared twice on the junction show-today shared the news with her fans with their picture.

Jake’s upset comes one year after he last appeared on television when he returned to Love Island for All Stars.

But his time in the show was very short – and he decided to leave after only three days when he learned that the public had combined him with former Liberty Poole.

Jake and Liberty met during the seventh series of the island of love, but their romance collapsed just a few days before the finals.

After leaving the villa for the second time, Jake said Liberty seemed “sour” and “bitter”, which suggested that she tried to choose him as a villain.

He explained, “I felt like he was a little sour. Like, ‘Oh, here he is. Let’s go to him again.’

“I grew up in reality, I matured in two years.

“So, when these were those faces and comments like ‘he hurts me,’ I took my chin, I won’t cry for it.

“While obviously the conversation we were running, she said, ‘I feel like you are ignoring me’ – that’s just the way she got into the conversation, he was just a little bitter.”

He started acting from the Jake series and appeared in his first movie last year.

Talking about the future and his decision to leave All Stars when he did it, Jake told us earlier: “For me it was a big deal to return to [Love Island].

“They approached me and it was another opportunity to show people in some way because I was young for the first time and it was much different.

“I am older now and I have a job. I grew up. I was dealing with acting. It was kind of somehow to enter my hands open and show who I am, and then, when I knew it was not right for me, then I said, ‘Look, no I can be here, I can’t guide those forced conversations, ‘I felt like I was growing up.

“Obviously, I’ll always be known as strong from the island of love. But now I want to be known as a strong actor, or a strong fighter, a boxer.”
