Island of love USAKaylor Martin has officially confirmed she is single, after weeks of questions swirling about her relationship status with fellow contestant Aaron Evans.
On Friday, August 16, some of the cast of Season 6 of Peacock’s hit dating show appeared on 92NY in New York City to chat about the series with host and influencer Remi Bader,
During the group chat, Kaylor, 22, discussed her relationship status, as well as the now infamous episodes of Casa Amor — which feature a twist first introduced in the original UK series in which 10 new Islanders join the season halfway through to tempt existing contestants from their relationships.
“One thing I regret about Casa — not channeling my inner bad b—-,” Kaylor joked during the event. “I was just rummaging through it.”

She continued: “Look, I’m very happy. I’m 22, I’m going to go through heartbreak, falling in love – all of it. I know we’ve all been there maybe once or twice, and I’m glad I went through it and I’m learning from this situations myself!”
Just days ago, the 22-year-old announced in a TikTok video — ahead of the season six cast reunion — that “Aaron and I are not doing well” and that the couple is “over.”
“We’re not together,” Kaylor said on Wednesday, August 14, the day the cast reunited in New York to film the reunion special, which airs on the Peacock on Monday, August 19.
Also during the group’s appearance at the 92NY event, castmate JaNa Craig teased some of the reunion drama to come, telling the crowd, “At the reunion, one of my top three things was Kaylor standing at work.”
“You guys would be so proud,” Kaylor joked in response. “I didn’t shed a fucking tear.”

During the Casa Amor portion of the series, Aaron — who up until that point in the season was in a relationship with Kaylor — flirted heavily with new Casa contestant Daniela Ortiz Rivera, before fellow cast member Rob Rausch decided to bring Daniela back to the main series. mansion, which poses a challenge to Aaron and Kaylor’s relationship.
Despite the controversy that Casa Amor brought her and Aaron, Kaylor said during an appearance in New York that one of the biggest things she took away from her time on Island of love was to “find your best friend” in Liv Walker.
“And I also realize my fucking worth,” she added. “Because when you’re in the mansion, you’re in a little bubble. It’s not normal. It was very difficult for me to be there. And I did fall in love and what you saw was very honest.”
