Lukas Gage Apologizes to Shania Twain for ‘Wasting Her Time’ After She Performed at His Wedding to Ex Chris Appleton

Lukas Gage apologizes to Shania Twain for involving her in his unhappy marriage to Chris Appleton.

White lotus star, 28, answered questions about his wedding to hairstylist Kim Kardashian Appleton, 40, during an appearance on Watch what’s happening live Tuesday.

When asked why he and Appleton decided to wear fur coats on their big day, Gage took the time to express his regrets.

“I want to apologize to Shania Twain for wasting her time,” he said, after admitting that wearing fur coats to exchange vows was a “terrible idea.”

“I mean… ‘We’re still hanging on… you’re still the one’ after three weeks? That was a no-brainer. That was the biggest waste of her time,” he joked.

“I love you Shania, I’m really sorry about that,” he said with a laugh, before confirming to host Andy Cohen that he’s a big fan of Twain, 58, which is why he asked her to sing her hit ballad, “You’re Still always the one,” to him and Appleton after their wedding in Las Vegas in April 2023.

Gage called her wedding day performance “really cool,” but said he felt like he “wasted a little bit of her time” because his marriage only lasted six months before Appleton filed for divorce.

Twain he responded to the confession on Twitter Thursday, writing, “If you’re not in it for the love, I’m out of here! 😂😘”

The Euphoria the actor confirmed to Cohen, 55, that Kardashian, 43, is licensed to legally marry people before also apologizing to the reality star.

“Look, Kim is great. She was really sweet to take us all out and take care of us and pay for everything,” House on the road said the star. “Sorry Kim and Shania…I’m so sorry.”

Gage burst into hysterical laughter after the apology, before Cohen informed him that “You’re Still The One” is also the wedding song of Bravolebrities Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, who announced they are separating in February 2024.

“It’s so diabolical, but it also makes so much sense. I’m Brittany,” Gage said before doing an impression of the former Kentucky native Vanderpump Rules star.

“I had a manic episode for six months,” Gage joked with Cohen elsewhere in an interview about the tumultuous romance. He and Appleton had only been dating for about two months when they decided to tie the knot. Their big day was shown in one episode The Kardashians.

“I don’t know literally what was going through my head. But we live and learn,” Gage also said, before denying that anyone cheated in the relationship.
