Chandra Grahan or Partial Lunar Eclipse 2023 happened on October 28 and 29, 2023. It was visible in all parts of India as well as other parts of Asia, Africa and Europe. During the peak phase of the eclipse, 12% of the Moon was covered by Earth’s umbra, or darkest shadow. Because of this, the Moon took on a reddish hue, looking as if it had been bitten.
