Lupita Nyong'o Storms Off-Broadway Premiere of Teeth Musical Dressed as Weather-Controlling X-Men Heroine

Lupita Nyong’o rocked the perfect ‘Storm’ for Halloween!

At the premiere of the Off-Broadway musical Teeth on Thursday, October 31, the Wild robot actress — who played Nakia in the Black panther and its sequel Wakanda Forever — dressed as another Marvel character.

Photographers captured Nyong’o, 41, on the red carpet dressed as The X-Men superhero Storm, a mutant with the ability to control time. As for the look, the Oscar winner channeled Stormi’s signature style in a bright white curly wig and a stack of chunky gold necklaces, which she accessorized over an all-black suit.

She even wore white glasses to mimic the bleary eyes of the electrified hero.

The sexiest, scariest and silliest celebrity costumes for Halloween 2024.

Staying in character, Nyong’o posted an Instagram Reel showing Storm taking control of the weather (or at least taking control of the bathroom sink water). In the video, Nyong’o is standing by the sink washing her hands. Wet, she threw drops of water at the camera and twirled her wrist in circles towards the camera.

“*Employees must wash their hands* – Marvel Management,” the actress captioned the post.
