Three people are dead after three vehicles, including a jet fuel tanker truck, were involved in a crash on a highway in Pennsylvania.
Police said the incident began late Saturday morning when a white Acura suffered a flat tire while traveling northbound on Interstate 476 on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Montgomery County, according to NBC affiliate WGAL and FOX affiliate WTXF-TV.
Another vehicle, traveling behind the Acura, activated its hazard lights before pulling over in an attempt to assist the disabled vehicle, WGAL and ABC affiliate WPVI-TV reported.
The tanker truck then failed to stop in time, so it hit both vehicles, causing a huge fire that engulfed all three vehicles.
