Brenda Song didn’t leave home alone for her latest movie premiere — she brought Macaulay Culkin!
On Friday, September 6, the 36-year-old actress celebrated the premiere of the film The last showgirl at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival as she matched her longtime partner in coordinating black looks.
While attending the event at the Princess of Wales Theater in Toronto, Song – who appears in Gia Coppola’s new film alongside Pamela Anderson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista and more – posed for cute couple photos with Culkin, 44.
Song wore a sparkly strapless black dress with crystal detailing for the outing, while Culkin chose to match her in a classic black suit, black glasses and a partially unbuttoned shirt. In the footage, Culkin put his arm around Song’s waist while she put her hand on his chest.
The pair also appeared in after-party photos shared by Song’s co-star Curtis, 65, with Song swapping her dress for a black suit with metallic details.

The couple, who started dating in 2017, have two children together: Dakota Song Culkin, 2, and another son, born in December 2022.
At the premiere, Song spoke to Canadian entertainment show Etalk about the support she’s received from Culkin — and other loved ones — as she marks the premiere of her latest film.
“I’m so lucky to have the wonderful support of my partner, my family. Like, I couldn’t do anything without them,” she said. “I think of my parents watching my kids right now. None of this would be possible without a whole team of people holding me.”
The last showgirlwritten by Kate Gersten, follows Anderson’s character Shelley who is a 30-year-old entertainer from Las Vegas and “the feathered and crystal-adorned centerpiece of Sin City’s last remaining traditional floor show,” according to the official synopsis. According to IMDb, the film is Song’s first film since 2022 Love by accidentand her first screen role after her voice work on the Netflix series Blue-eyed samurai in 2023

Macaulay Culkin jokingly ‘masquerades’ as resort staff during fiancee Brenda Song’s birthday vacation
She and Culkin have long supported each other’s endeavors, as Song made a special appearance at Culkin’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in December, along with their children. During his speech, Culkin recognized Song as “the only person happier for me today than I am” and “the best person I’ve ever known.”
Song recently paid tribute to her fiance on Father’s Day in June with a heartfelt caption on Instagram, referring to him as “the best dad in the world” and someone “who goes above and beyond everyday life, who is willing to do (or wear) literally anything just to get a smile from one of his boys.”

“Even though you don’t think so – we see everything you do every day,” Song wrote. “All the big things, but especially the little things. Thank you for always being our pack mule, our cook, our scavenger, and doing all the things that keep this crazy train moving.”
“I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to raise our children with or a better role model for them to look up to. We love you,” she concluded her caption.
The Toronto International Film Festival runs until September 15.
