Machine Gun Kelly Opens Up About Megan Fox’s Miscarriage on New Song ‘Dont Let Me Go’

Machine Gun Kelly opens up about a difficult experience with fiancée Megan Fox.

On Wednesday, the 33-year-old musician released the song “don’t let me go,” which includes lyrics alluding to Fox’s miscarriage, which the actress revealed last year in her poetry book, Nice guys are toxic.

“How can I live with the fact / That my hand wasn’t on her belly when we lost the baby,” asks the singer, born Colson Baker, in his song.

Megan Fox reveals she had an ectopic pregnancy before her miscarriage with Machine Gun Kelly

While talking to WWD about her book of poetry in November, Fox, 37, opened up about the miscarriage she experienced with Kelly.

Speaking about the pregnancy loss, Fox said she had “other things” going on that she hasn’t talked about publicly yet.

“That experience was a lot harder than I expected it to be, and I really analyzed, ‘Why was that? What was so hard for me?’ Because when I was younger, I had an ectopic pregnancy, I had other things that I won’t say because God forbid the world goes up in a storm.”

“But I’ve been through other similar problems, but not with someone I was so in love with,” Fox said.

Earlier that month, the actress shared further details about her miscarriage, which she wrote about in two poems in her book.

“I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and apart… trying to figure out, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?'” she said during a sit-in on Good morning America.

In her book, Fox wrote about the baby girl’s ultrasound at 10 weeks and one day, saying, “Maybe you’re not… maybe I am…”

Elsewhere, she wrote, “I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh,” and later, “but now / I have to say / goodbye.” The second sentence is about imagining holding the baby “while you are being ripped from my womb.”

I will pay any price, wrote Fox. “Please tell me / what is the ransom / for her soul?”
