Madison Bailey’s humble family background has taught her a lot.
During a recent interview with V Magazine, she said that her humble family background encouraged her to stay true to herself while living a lavish lifestyle after becoming a global celebrity with her roles.
“A lot of who I am comes from my family, being on the East Coast and growing up in a small town,” she opined.
Not only that, but Bailey said she misses her family and hasn’t visited them or returned to her hometown since Outer Banks was released. Meanwhile, she lived in her apartment in Los Angeles.
Her relationship with her siblings grows
The relationship between brothers and sisters in the family, like any other relationship, is very important in life. This is due to the fact that a person develops and learns from their siblings as they grow older. Bailey reflected on her bond with her siblings and said she had a close relationship with all six. During the epidemic, she was able to further develop her relationship with them. She initially stated that she was raised as a black woman in a predominantly white home before stating that she has witnessed a paradigm shift in family conversations amid demonstrations, the Black Lives Matter movement and demands for police reform.
“Because I was adopted, a lot of my family is white. Many of my white brothers and sisters reached out to me,” she said. “I talked to my brothers and sisters about topics they had never thought about, despite the fact that I had brought them up before.”
Bailey, the youngest member of the family, regularly shares pictures with her father and siblings and flashbacks about her mother on social media.
