Mae Whitman Is Pregnant! Actress Reveals She Is Expecting a Baby with Parenthood-Inspired Post

Mae Whitman is going to be a mom!

The Parenthood The alum, 35, revealed she was expecting a baby on Instagram on Sunday, May 12, posting a carousel of photos from her time on the hit NBC drama.

Whitman’s character, Amber Holt, was pregnant in the show’s sixth and final season. The actress’ post included photos with her movie mother, Lauren Graham, and movie brother, Miles Heizer, from when her character was pregnant.

“Not to turn it into a parenting episode or anything, but!!! Mother’s Day looks a little different this year! 🤰🏼,” Whitman captioned the carousel. “Can’t wait to meet you, huge baby that’s dirtying my insides! #ruveal.”

“I’m so happy for you,” Whitman Good girls costar Christina Hendricks commented on the post.

Whitman — who is an avid fan of the series Bright Friday night and even hosted a podcast rewatching the sports drama with its stars Scott Porter and Zach Gilford — also received words of congratulations from Porter.

Whitman rarely posts on social media, but she last shared an Instagram update with her followers after she hit the road to see Taylor Swift during her Eras tour with Hezier in August 2023.
