Mahasweta Chakraborty went on to say that late at night on February 26, 2022, she received a call from her employer company telling her that she had been selected to participate in the Indian rescue operation during the Russian-Ukrainian war. During the COVID-19 pandemic in India, Mahasweta Chakraborty participated in the Vande Bharat Mission, launched by the Indian government to repatriate Indians stranded abroad due to India’s COVID-19 lockdown that began on May 7, 2020.
