Mahesh Vitta is an Indian comedian and actor. He mainly appears in Tollywood movies. Vitta came into the spotlight after his comedy web series went viral on YouTube. He also participated in the reality TV show Bigg Boss Telugu (Season 3).

Mahesh Vitta was born on Wednesday, December 26, 1990, in Proddatur, Andhra Pradesh (age 28; as of 2018). His zodiac sign is Capricorn. He was educated at SB Memorial High School, Prodatur and Sri Vidya Junior College, Gudivada, Andhra Pradesh. He pursued bachelor’s degree in Computer Application (BCA) from Rani Tirumala Devi Science College, Proddatur. In 2012, he got admitted to TKR College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad to pursue his Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA). Mahesh wanted to study visual effects (VFX), so he got admitted to MAAC School of Animation. However, he soon had to quit as he was offered a role in the short film “Nenu Palana”.

Mahesh started his career in 2015 with the short film Nenu Palana. He was praised for his comedic timing in the film and was soon offered a comedy web series. He created Fun Bucket, a 10-episode comedy web series that became an instant hit and has been viewed more than 10 million times on YouTube. This made Mahesh very popular and his comic timing and dialogue delivery were widely appreciated.

After the success of “Buckets of Joy,” Teja, the show’s director, agreed to cast him in a movie. After the success of “Bucket”, Mahesh acted in various comedy sketches. He also performs stand-up comedy in his hometown. Soon, Mahesh got a chance to play a role in Teja’s film Nene Raju Nene Mantri. The film released in 2017 and marked his Tollywood debut. Mahesh plays a comic role in the film. His role was brief, but his comedic timing and performance made a lasting impact.
After Nene Raju Nene Mantri, Mahesh acted in many other films. In 2019, Mahesh participated in the popular reality TV show Bigg Boss Telugu (Season 3) hosted by Akkineni Nagarjuna.
