In October, the singer revealed that he and Gomez were expecting their first child together with the release of his new music video for “Procura,” which he debuted at his concert in Washington, DC.
During the concert at Capital One Arena, Maluma announced that he will show the audience his new music video. After that, he sat on the stage to watch the premiere. For the first time, fans were able to see some of his more intimate moments showcasing his growing family, as well as revealing the gender of his child.
The music video features some home footage of Maluma, whose real name is Juan Luis Londoño Arias, and Gomez having fun while traveling together. The film then cuts to the couple going to the doctor’s office, where Gomez can be seen going for an ultrasound. The “Según Quién” singer apparently gets emotional when he sees a picture of his baby for the first time.

During the gender reveal party, Maluma also hinted at what she would name her daughter, as the camera focused on a diamond necklace Gomez was wearing that had the name “Paris” written on it.
The singer later confirmed the name in an interview with NPR, saying, “Paris, our beautiful daughter, is growing in mommy’s belly and she’s giving me so many reasons to keep dreaming… She’s my everything right now.”
