Mom June Shannon remembers Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell on her birthday.
On August 28 Mama June: Family crisis star, 45, marked her late daughter’s 30th birthday by reposting the account on her Instagram Stories, which has helped people cope with their grief.
Over a text video about missing lost loved ones, Shannon wrote: “Definitely how I feel some days when I miss them [Anna] daily [and] turns 30 today.”

The video itself captured the point of view of those who lost their friends and family and how difficult it was for them to overcome their grief.
“I miss you. I just miss you,” the video read. “I’m doing the best I can, I’m taking tiny, wobbly steps forward, but if you ask me how I’m doing…I really fucking miss you.”
“I get through the days, but there’s always that place where you should be, a space that no amount of time or effort can fill,” he continued.

Mum June Shannon reveals what daughter Anna ‘repeated over and over’ in her final months (Exclusive)
Cardwell died in December 2023 after being diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal cancer in January of that year. She was 29 years old.
While speaking with PEOPLE in June, Shannon shared that she continues to keep her memory alive by wearing her ashes in a bracelet.

“Even today, even six months later, we keep her memory alive. As for me, I personally have to keep talking about it. He’s actually here with us today,” she said, showing off her pendant bracelet. “She’s here. I always carry it with me.”
“That was her thing, that she wanted to be cremated and carried around, so I said, ‘Okay, let’s go, girl,'” she said, before adding, “We never thought we’d have to lose anyone in our family. We didn’t thought we would ever experience it in reality.”
