Maryland man is forbidden to fly with United Airlines after seeing him hitting an agent door in the face in a viral video, toward the authorities.
On Thursday, March 13, at about 5:30 pm local time, the Metropolitan Washington Airport Administration responded to the incident at the Gate D12 at the Dulles International Airport in Virginia, “where the traveler struck the agent United Airlines Gate,” said the people on Friday, March 14th.
The traveler was identified as Christopher Stuart Crittenden (54) from Frederick, md. He was arrested and charged with attack and messy behavior. The attacked agent was transported to a local hospital by the Airport Fire Department, where he received treatment. The authorities did not reveal his name.

In a four -second clip, a man can see approaching the agent as other passengers disembark at the door. The man then quickly hits the agent in the face as he collapsed to the floor. Passers -by are heard breaths and express shock before the video is ended abruptly.
“The traveler involved is banned from future trips to United,” the airline said in a statement on Friday, March 14th.
The authorities did not confirm what led to the incident, however, witnesses said Wusa9 that it happened after the flight cancellation. The flight in D12 has been said to be fully reserved. The agent was trying to prevent the passenger from approaching the gate, as the traveler said, “I ended up with these bulls —” before throwing a blow, witnesses said.

The International Association of Machines and Aviation Workers requested more protection for the airline staff after the incident.
“Our members deserve a job where they can focus on providing excellent user services – not afraid of being attacked by passengers. This latest incident is another example of an unacceptable increase in violence against airline workers, and a immediate measure is needed to get rid of it, “Union IAM said.
“Throughout the country, representatives of the Air Force continue to face physical attacks, including hitting, hitting, hitting baggage thrown and chasing clothes. Some of these attacks have resulted in injuries that change their lives.”

The union, which represents over 100,000 airline employees, noted that the staff are already under huge pressure and should not “withstand a constant threat to abuse and physical damage from rude passengers.”
“Despite the rise of violent incidents in the last few years, there has been minimal legal consequences for the insult of passengers,” IM continued, later adding, “as long as these violent incidents last, IAM will not stop advocating to actually implement the laws that protect the employees of aviation companies.”
