A 37-year-old man was killed and a 61-year-old man was seriously injured in a crash involving a mobile home in northern Ohio on Monday, authorities said.
A “Toledo company was preparing” to remove the mobile home when the aerial cranes struck, crushing the two men who were underneath it, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
When first responders arrived at the scene in Hopewell Estates in Fostoria shortly after 11 a.m. local time, they found the younger man “appeared to be dead.” The second victim suffered internal injuries and was transported by Toledo Life Flight helicopter to an area hospital, authorities said.
