MANCHESTER United’s dressing room was bugged ahead of their match against Aston Villa in a shocking security lapse.
The prankster claims he tricked Villa Park staff into sneaking in and installing a hidden device two days before last Sunday’s 0-0 draw.

He recorded the talks of coach Erik ten Hag’s team under fire for the crucial Premier League game.
A source said: “This is a shocking breach of security and some serious questions will be asked about how this was allowed to happen. Fortunately, there was nothing sinister about this incident.
“It was just a prankster, who is actually a United fan, being silly and wanting to hear what was being said inside those four walls. But it will definitely be a cause for concern how they managed to get into the dressing room of one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs just days before the game.”
The Sun has heard the tapes but is choosing not to publish details about them.
However, we can detect Ten Hag’s instructions to the team and individual players can be clearly heard.
The Sun has learned that the prankster used a phone from China which has a setting where the microphone can be activated by a call from another device.
He stuck the receiver somewhere out of sight in the United dressing room and only rang when he knew the manager would be there.
High alert
Sources claim that the culprit responsible even had the nerve to pick up the device on Monday.
It’s a trick similar to the one where the Match of the Day studio was bombarded with pornographic sounds live on air in 2023.

It was the work of Daniel “Jarvo” Jarvis.
However, it is believed that he was not involved in the filming of Vila.
The latest trick comes with Premier League chiefs already on high alert after a series of shenanigans targeting stadiums and teams.
In May, United targeted YouTuber Lizwani – who had previously been on stage at the Baftas alongside Oppenheimer’s line-up.
He managed to sneak onto the Red Devils team bus after the 4-0 defeat at Selhurst Park by Crystal Palace.

That offense led to Prem bosses warning 20 top league clubs advising them to beware of similar tricks.
A source said: “These people are mostly harmless and do it for fun.

Manchester United experienced the worst start to the season in the Premier League, after seven games they are in 14th place with only eight points.
Ten Hag, 54, told the media after the game at Villa that he was “very satisfied” with the performance.
It came after a 3-3 draw against Porto in the Europa League – where they blew a 2-0 lead – and a 3-0 defeat by Spurs at Old Trafford.
Seven o’clock meeting
Villa’s 0-0 draw was the Red Devils’ fifth game without a win – their last being a 7-0 Carabao Cup win against League One side Barnsley.
It’s a far cry from the glory days of former manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who famously called high-pressure moments “the time of the creaking bum”.

United’s hierarchy — including co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe — held a seven-hour meeting at Old Trafford last week with Ten Hag’s future up in the air.
They have been tight-lipped about the manager’s position and Sir Jim has not publicly endorsed him recently.
However, Ten Hag — currently on holiday during the international break — insists he still has the backing of bosses.
He said: “I have no idea it’s different because they should have told me.
“We communicate — very openly, very transparently. I would say we talk every day, so I expect to talk to them.”
He dismissed the “external noise”, adding: “Internal, we are disappointed.
“We know we have to be better. We especially need to score more goals.”
In 2016, Old Trafford suffered a bomb scare after a fake device installed by a security company was found in a toilet.
The fiasco led to United’s Premier League game against Bournemouth being abandoned.
Man Utd and Aston Villa were contacted for comment yesterday.

Porn stunt at match of the day

MATCH of the Day viewers were stunned when they heard the sounds of pornography in another phone prank during the show.
They came from a device Daniel “Jarvo” Jarvis taped to the wall before Wolves v Liverpool’s FA Cup tie at Molineux in 2023.
His speaker was activated remotely from another device during the live broadcast, much to the amusement of presenter Gary Lineker.
Jarvo, who is also behind a number of other pranks at major sporting events, told The Sun at the time: “These things are all about confidence. If you hesitate, you will be asked questions. The Wolves people thought we were with TV, and vice versa.”
