When she returned to India, many people expected her to join the business and she felt a responsibility to continue growing the family business.

At the age of 14, Manasseh began teaching arts and crafts at an NGO called Christel House Foundation. The NGO helps poor children, and she also teaches at a public primary school and at an orphanage run by nuns that cares for abandoned and abused girls. Manasi even organized an art exhibition in places like Samuha and Jinkini to showcase the children’s work. In an interview, she talked about working with them, saying:
Working with these children was a life-changing experience. I witnessed firsthand the harsh reality of India, and at that moment, I promised myself that I would dedicate most of my life to giving back to society and improving lives. “

She founded a social impact startup called Caring with Color, a non-profit organization that works with government schools in three districts of Karnataka. She mentioned in an interview that she wanted to improve the education system and allow children to learn more creatively. In the interview, she spoke about this and added:
Approximately 85-90% of India’s school population attends public primary schools, which is where the CWC will be conducted. We will teach art in a way that helps children improve academically and improve attendance, use art as a tool to diagnose specific types of psychological problems, then use art as therapy, and finally encourage children to “give back” and engage in community service from the age of 14. I would like to encourage every high school in India to make community service an integral part of the high school curriculum. “

Manasi received three years of training at Toyota Kirloskar Motors. She then started working at the Lexus division of Toyota Kirloska. There, she learned about technical processes, manufacturing, Japanese work culture, advanced quality control methods and business operations. Additionally, she founded a real estate arm and a financial services arm in partnership with her mother, Geetanjali Kirloskar. Her first project was part of her mother’s initiative to create a new state-of-the-art hospital in Shakti. Manasseh was responsible for designing the interior and non-medical areas of the hospital. In an interview, she mentioned that she chose to decorate the interior of the hospital colorfully and was nervous about the decision, but she believed that hospitals are often depressing places and needed some bright colors to create a positive atmosphere. Her idea was welcomed by everyone in the office, and she received a lot of praise for it.

Thereafter, she became the Executive Director of Kirloskar Systems Ltd. She was involved in a residential project worth Rs. 1,500 crore in prime locations in Bengaluru, Rs 1,200 crore in commercial space projects and healthcare projects in rural areas. In November 2022, following the death of her father, she was appointed as a board director of the Kirloskar Systems joint venture. She has served as a Director on the Board of Directors of the company’s joint ventures Toyota Industries Engine India Pvt Ltd, Kirloskar Toyota Textile Machinery Pvt Ltd (KTTM), Toyota Material Handling India Pvt Ltd (TMHIN) and Denso Kirloskar Industries Pvt Ltd (DNKI).
