Mandy Moore Celebrates 5-Year Wedding Anniversary with Taylor Goldsmith: ‘I Don’t Know What I Did to Deserve This Life with You’

Love is still in the air for Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith five years after they tied the knot.

The couple, who married in 2018, celebrated their anniversary on Saturday with sweet posts for each other on Instagram – both giving a nod to their busy new lifestyles as parents of two little ones.

“5 years later!! We’re sorry this declaration of love is late, but we’ve been moving and juggling two kids together all day,” wrote Moore, 39, as she shared a black-and-white portrait with Goldsmith, 38, and a cute video of them in a park with the two of them sons, Gus, 2, and Ozzie, 1.

“There is nowhere else I would rather be and no one else I would rather be with. I don’t know what I did to deserve this life with you, @taylordawesgoldsmith, but I live in gratitude every day. Happy anniversary, T!”

The couple’s fifth year of marriage was a busy one as they transitioned into a family of four. Their second son, Ozzie, was born a month before their fourth anniversary last year, and turned one in October.

“I went back to work with both of them very quickly after I got them,” she told PEOPLE in July, before the strike ended. “A month with Gus and six weeks with Ozzie. So not working now and having this concentrated time with the family is so special.”

She continued, “I realize that time is fleeting, so I really try to be present and appreciate it. There’s a million things going on at once. It’s still a really, really special time.”

The end of summer brought another change for the family, as Gus started preschool. Fortunately, Moore told PEOPLE that “it was easier than I thought it would be.”

“I expected a lot of tears and great emotions, and he is doing very well,” she said. “He’s still so little, and half a day. But it’s been a great transition for him. He’s having so much fun and he’s so excited. It already feels like there’s such a difference in his socializing and what he comes home and talks about , and that’s so weird!”

As Ozzie “just wants to emulate his brother” and is “obsessed” with Gus, Moore said she and Goldsmith have to set boundaries to make sure the two play nice. “I think the biggest thing now is to ensure that [Gus] don’t crush him because sometimes he just wants to get too close and hold too tight.”

“We’re like, ‘Tender, buddy.’ It’s like, I get it. I want to eat Ozzie, too. He’s still so squishy and I just want to eat his little legs, but sometimes we’ve got to give it up for Gus.”
