Manik Saha was born on Thursday, January 8, 1953, in Agartala, Tripura, India (70 years; as of 2023). Manik has been an excellent student since childhood. He completed his education from Umakanta College, Agartala, Tripura. After completing his studies, he went to Patna to pursue his dream of becoming a dentist. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 1982 from Government Dental College, Patna. Later, after nearly a decade of practice, Manik Saha appeared for and passed the All India Entrance Examination of the prestigious King George’s Medical College (KGMC) in 1991 and received his Master of Dental Surgery in 1994 ( MDS). Saha is a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

After graduating from King George’s Medical College (KGMC) in 1994, Manik Saha was quickly promoted as a senior dental surgeon while working in the Tripura Dental Health Services under the Tripura Government.
