As family members and friends mourned the death of Margarita Suarez in Merida, Mexico, those present were shocked to see how many feral dogs in the area had last seen the woman.
Turns out, this woman regularly feeds abandoned cats and dogs every day.
She walks and carries a bag of food and other medicines and gives them to the wild dogs. The stray dogs remained until the end of the funeral.
This is a way for wild dogs to show respect and gratitude to the woman. They just came to say goodbye to the kind lady.
The dog love is clearly visible. They will miss the woman who loved and cared for them. The dogs look very sad and hopeless. Rest in peace, kind and generous woman.
