Margaret Qualley Says She Absolutely Loves Married Life with Jack Antonoff: ‘It’s the Best’

Margaret Qualley is firmly ensconced in newlywed bliss more than three months after marrying Jack Antonoff.

When asked how she enjoys life as a wife, Qualley (29) said Party tonight in a recent interview, “I absolutely love it, yeah!”

She added that having Antonoff, 39, as her husband is “the best.”

The couple, who began dating in 2021, went public with their romance in early 2022 while attending several events together, including the AFI Awards Luncheon and the Critics Choice Awards in March 2022.

Two months later, PEOPLE confirmed that they were engaged.

Qualley and the music producer tied the knot in New Jersey over the summer, as several famous faces joined them for the celebration.

Guests at the event included Taylor Swift, Channing Tatum, Zoë Kravitz, Cara Delevingne and Lana Del Rey, along with the bride’s mother, Andie McDowell. As A-listers gathered in the seaside town to celebrate, an insider told PEOPLE that the area, Long Beach Island, was “awash with celebrities” at the time.

Another source said as the celebrations got underway, starting with a rehearsal dinner with the stars, “They looked like they were having an amazing time.”

Last month, Antonoff spoke publicly about the wedding for the first time during a guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

He said he thought the ceremony itself would be easy until he found himself standing, alone, at the altar, waiting for Qualley.

“I had this idea — like, I’m performing, so I don’t care — I just want to be married to her. I don’t care about…,” he said of how he thought he would feel at that moment.

“I’m performing, so I’m not one of these people… I don’t care, I can do anything, I don’t mind being here, I don’t mind being on stage — I don’t mind it too much,” he continued. “And then as soon as I got up there, it was the ultimate – it was the most alone in my life, in a way, because my bride hadn’t come out yet.”

Once the Grammy winner saw Maidservant star, all his anxieties vanished. “It was beautiful and it was every cliché and I kind of melted and broke down in a very sweet way.”

In September, Qualley said Harper’s Bazaar that Antonoff was her “person” and described having him in her life as “the best feeling in the world.”

“I’m so happy that I found my person,” she told the newspaper. “And it really is. It’s great. It’s the best feeling in the world. I’m so excited and so relaxed all at once.”
