Mariah Carey Dresses Up as Regina George from Mean Girls for Her Second Halloween Costume

Mariah Carey is still in the Halloween spirit!

After sharing photos of herself dressed as Disney’s Jessica Rabbit Who placed Roger Rabbit on Instagram on Monday, the 54-year-old singer surprised fans Tuesday by revealing another Halloween costume.

Each time, stars dressed up as other stars for Halloween — and succeeded

For her second formal outfit, Carey decided to take a page from Rachel McAdams’ book by portraying her Mean girls character, Regina George.

Carey recreated McAdams’ outfit from a scene in the film in which her white tank top has two holes pierced by Lizzy Caplan’s character, Janis Ian. The performer paired the shirt with a purple bra, a black miniskirt and black pointe shoes.

She debuted her look in an Instagram video with the caption, “whatever I get fries #notyet.” The clip had Blondie’s “One Way Or Another” playing in the background, along with an animated graphic that read “That’s so fetch”.

The singer’s fans were quick to weigh in on the iconic 2004 film in the comments section. One fan wrote: “This time I saw Mariah wearing high heels and a pool dress… so I wore high heels and a pool dress.” Another fan left a comment that read: “Once Mariah punched me in the face. It was awesome!”

Carey took her holiday love a step further this year by appearing in a new holiday campaign for The Children’s Place.

The music icon donned a formal outfit to star in the campaign alongside her 12-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, who she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon. She opened up about her love for Christmas while talking about the campaign exclusively with PEOPLE.

“The Children’s Place is a household name and really dominates the children’s clothing space, so I’ve always been a fan of them,” she said. “Secondly, I’m just someone who absolutely loves the holidays. I mean, it’s obvious, but I really love the holidays, especially Christmas.”

Carey told PEOPLE that she and her children celebrate the holidays wearing matching pajamas.

The “All I Want for Christmas Is You” singer will be showing her love for the holidays while out and about for Merry Christmas One and All! tour. The 13-date tour kicks off November 15 in Highland, California with stops in major cities including Los Angeles and Chicago.

Right after Halloween ended at midnight, Carey posted a video of herself being “melted” by people dressed in Halloween costumes before she broke the ice with her voice. “It’s about time,” she sang before launching into “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
