The “Queen of Christmas,” 54, looked chic in a black mini dress with gold trim and a matching jacket as she arrived at the El Capitan Theater on Thursday to appear at Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Carey upped the glamor with a pair of dark Gucci sunglasses and tall gold platform sandals.

During her appearance on the show, Carey – who appeared festively dressed as Mrs.Claus – pranked the talk show host in his home while he slept. When the sleepy Kimmel, 55, was woken up by the singer, he asked her: “What time is it?” The star then cheekily replied: “It’s time!” before her festive hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You” began to play.
