It’s a Christmas miracle!
Mariah Carey has announced that she will perform the final show of her annual Christmas tour after canceling the last three shows due to illness.
“Ladies, thank you for making my #Christmastime so special β€οΈ I loved singing with you every night and can’t wait to see you all tomorrow in Brooklyn for the tour,” Carey, 55, said in an Instagram post on Monday, which refers to her performance on December 17 at the Barclays Center in New York.

On Wednesday, December 11, shortly before she was scheduled to perform at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, the “All I Want for Christmas” singer announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that she had to cancel the show due to her illness.
“Pittsburgh, I’m sorry to say, I’ve come down with the flu. It breaks my heart to unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s show. I love you all so much,” she wrote. Ticket holders were refunded the full amount.

Two days later, the Grammy winner announced that she was “still ill” and canceled her shows at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ and the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, NY.
“I’m really devastated about this and appreciate your support. Love, MC, π,” she wrote in her X post.
Before confirming she would be well enough to perform on December 17, Carey joked in an Instagram post over the weekend that “Christmas is in the air again β€οΈπ(as are the germs that made me sick, but let’s stay positive! )”

The mom-of-two announced her Christmas Time tour on August 2. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the time, Carey said she “worked day and night on this one.”
βI worked with some amazing people on this, like Miss Debbie Allen. I’ll be doing songs I’ve never done before, some duets. I have to prepare some surprises,” she said.
on Monday, Billboard announced that Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas” topped the chart for a 16th consecutive week, tying her second hit, “One Sweet Day.”
The Christmas Queen shared the milestone in a post on her Instagram Stories, writing: “Best news to wake up to as I prepare for my last tour tomorrow!!!! β€οΈπππβοΈπ¦β¨.”
