Mariska Hargitay Gets Birthday Love by Pals Brooke Shields, Ali Wentworth, Plus SVU Stars Past and Present

Mariska Hargitay’s loved ones are gathering to celebrate the start of her brand new decade!

In honor Law and Order: Special Victims Unit star’s 60th birthday on Tuesday, her closest friends and co-stars past and present shared touching tributes on Instagram.

Starting with the tribute, Brooke Shields shared a series of photos and videos of the duo over the years to celebrate Hargitay’s birthday.

“Happy birthday @therealmariskahargitay,” she wrote alongside photos of the pals on the jumbotron, making funny faces with their kids, practicing lines and taking cute selfies. “Through laughter and tears, so much love and of course fun! 🎈❤️.”

But Wentworth marked the special day by sharing the birthday cakes she’s made for the actress over the years.

On her Instagram Story, Wentworth posted a picture of Hargitay holding a homemade cake while wearing a flower crown. Posing in a two-tier pink matte outfit, the birthday girl could be seen sporting a huge smile and a black floral dress with puff sleeves.

“I’VE BEEN MAKING BIRTHDAY CAKES FOR THIS BEST ONE FOR YEARS!” Wentworth wrote before sharing a series of pictures showing birthday cakes from the past.

The next slide photographed Hargitay smiling next to a chocolate cake decorated with blue flecks and white odd pieces arranged in the letter “M.” The roast was also decorated with pink flowers and a white starfish. Another photo captured the actress blowing out candles on top of a pile of cookies and macarons.

Wentworth then posted a green two-tiered cake with white flecks, yellow candies, select flowers and a photo of Hargitay in the center topped by angel wings. She then shared a shot of a multi-tiered chocolate cake surrounded by pictures of the actress and their favorite moments. The last cake was white with pink flecks, and like the others so far, the celebratory treat was embellished with photos, a pink flower and a friendship bracelet.

Wentworth wrapped up his birthday tribute with a final photo of him sharing a hug and a slice of cake with Hargitay.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAPPY EVERYTHING,” she wrote. “FUN TO GO THROUGH LIFE WITH YOU I LOVE YOU.”

Hargitay’s ex Prinčeva Street actor Steven Martini also paid tribute to the actress at her birthday party.

“1-23-24 is Mariska Hargitay’s birthday,” he wrote alongside a montage of throwback photos of the old lineup. “Did you know that before she was Olivia Benson Law and orderMariska starred as an undercover cop alongside me, Joe Morton, Vince Spano, Lawrence Monoson and Dan Eskleson in the NBC drama Prinčeva Street?”

“Happy birthday Mariska! 🎂 #mariskahargitay #lawandordersvu,” he concluded.

The slideshow featured the group playing guitars and blowing out candles during one of Hargitay’s previous birthday parties.

In a video posted on the official Instagram page for Law and orderHargiray’s ALL Costars left a sweet message on her special day.

“Mariska Hargitay, muchísimas felicidades,” wrote Octavio Pisano, wishing her a happy birthday in Spanish. Peter Scanavino jokingly spoke gibberish in response to his colleague’s sentiments before adding, “Happy birthday.”

Next, Camryn Manheim said, “I just want you to know, when I met you 30 years ago, I knew how special, enlightened, soulful and wise you were. And for some reason you proved me wrong because you are magnificent. ”

“We love you Mariska, you are simply the best of our generation and I am so proud to know you and walk with you in this life,” she concluded.
