Marla Sokoloff Says Her 3 Children Were 'Horrified' by Her Character Gia Smoking in Full House

Marla Sokoloff says her three children were shocked by the way their mother behaved Full house character played.

While I was a guest on Dave Coulier’s podcast, Full House Rewind, actress, 43, detailed that her daughters – Harper Bea Puro, 2, Elliotte Anne, 12, and Olive Mae, 8, who she shares with husband Alec Puro – watched their mom play Gia on Full house.

“Are your children watching you? Did they watch Full house?” Coulier, 64, asked Sokoloff, who explained, “They started with a fuller house, and then I said, ‘Guys, you have to watch the original. You have to start from scratch.’ And then they entered that one.”

Knowing that Gia is Stephanie Tanner’s bad influence friend, Coulier asked, “What do you tell them when they see Gia? ‘Don’t act like that?’ ”

“Exactly,” Sokoloff replied with a laugh. “Especially with the smoking thing. They’re horrified.”

She then recalled their first reaction to the smoking scenes, saying, “They were like, ‘Mom! You smoke?!’ ”

“They were delicious,” Sokoloff joked to Coulier.

In 2022, Coulier opened up about his time on the show and admitted that he would be participating in a new one Full house reboot “instantly” as it appears on Show Tamron Hall.

After host Tamron Hall asked the actor if fans of the beloved sitcom would get to see the cast return for a “new version” of the show, the podcast host joked, “Yeah, Full houseIs it?”

“We talk all the time [about] how we would love to do the show again. We just love to work and we really love our fans and we love the whole process,” he continued.

Coulier added, “We just love what the show is and what it means to people. And that’s why we always look forward to it.”
